Some background

The RegioPKI Service is conceived by two companies working under the same heading: Helsinki-based Conseils Oy (since 1987) and Brussels-based EuroConseils sprl (since 1991). Both are private family-owned independent companies.

We offer consultancy and advisory services and complete service solutions for public and private organisations in the area of strategic trust, security and identity management. We offer managed PKI, trust and paperless process services based on innovative, advanced and standards compliant solutions and technologies. Our aim is to take Regional and Local Government eServices to the next level of security and versatility, safeguarding both usability and protection of confidentiality and privacy.

Implementation and integration work, as well as Technical Support are provided in close collaboration with our Strategic Technology Partner XCure Solutions Oy, Helsinki. • Having delivered PKI-based services since 1997 and the European award winning Norwegian BankID scheme to over 150 banks since 2003, BBS is today the largest provider of managed electronic ID services in the Nordic region.
• In 2001, BBS' PKI practices were certified to meet Identrus requirements. Between 2001 and 2003, BBS offered managed eID services on Identrus scheme to the Nordea Bank Group in Europe .
• In 2005, BBS acquired the leading issuer of Qualified Certificates in Norway , ZebSign, a joint venture between Telenor ( Norway 's largest telecom operator) and Norwegian Post.
