When certificate usage has to scale
The
RegioPKI® validation services bring true value to organisations
expecting high volume of certificate validation transactions and others
expecting lower volumes of VA transactions. This validation service can
be offered in a traditional setup with a centralized Validation
Authority (VA) or in a distributed setup where pre-signed and
pre-formed VA responses can be stored and validated at the customer
site for performance and availability reasons.
Customers can further choose between CRL/ LDAP and OSCP responder based validation services: 
A
RegioPKI® “VA Plug-In” allow customers to re-use the validation
authority to extract additional user information from relevant
databases and furnish such information along with the VA-response to
the relying party eService. Typical additional user information that
could be packaged together with the VA response includes, postal
address, account number, age etc. The dispatching of such user
information can only be shared with authorized services.
